Carla Weaver
Carla has been with the practice since 1979 and enjoys being part of a great team and getting to know all of her patients on a personal level.
Carla graduated from the MCC Dental Assisting Program and has been employed here at Dental Associates ever since. She grew up on a farm south of Gilman and was one of eight children. She has three children and eight grandchildren!! Carla loves to spend time with her family (especially her grandkids :)). Gardening, antiquing and baking are some of her other favorite past times.
Michaela Chyma
Michaela recently rejoined our practice in 2022 after being away for 10 years. She enjoys interacting with patients and setting their minds at ease. She is excited to be a part of our team and to form relationships with our new and existing patients!
Michaela lives on an acreage outside of Grinnell with her husband Chad and her two sons Chase and Brody. Her and her husband own Chyma’s Welding in Toledo where she spends a lot of her time helping with the business
Kayla Pappas
Kayla recently joined our team in January 2020. She always has enjoyed having her teeth cleaned which is what sparked her interest in dental assisting. She graduated from the MCC dental assisting program in 2013. She looks forward to working with a great team.
Kayla grew up in Knoxville, IA. She currently resides in Kellogg with her husband Brock, their two year old son Braxl, newborn daughter Louella and three cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, reading, hunting, fishing and watching her husband play slow pitch softball.
